See a minute in practice

A short demo of the JAM Speaking Challenge: the lesson, the recording, and the feedback that follows.

The walkthrough will play here.

One minute, three moves

Every step on the roadmap follows the same loop. You practice real topics, and the analysis arrives as soon as you submit the recording.

01

Watch the lesson

Each step opens with a short video on one speaking topic. The clip sets the language you will use in the minute that follows.

02

Speak for up to 60 seconds

Record a summary of what you just learned. The recorder stops at one minute. The aim is to keep talking through the full minute, with your momentum intact.

03

Read the feedback, then continue

Your recording is transcribed and analyzed. Progress is saved, so the next step in the topic — or the next topic on the roadmap — is waiting when you come back.

What you get back after each minute

The analysis is written from your transcript. These are the sections included in that analysis.

Sentence analysis

Each sentence is checked for grammar and structure. Mistakes are marked, a corrected sentence is written, the rule is explained, and a more advanced structure is suggested when it would fit.

Missed opportunities

Places where a higher-level tense or structure would sound stronger, with the upgraded phrasing and why it works.

Natural alternatives

Lines that are technically correct and still sound stiff. You get the phrasing a native speaker would actually use, and the reason the original feels rigid.

Fluency and repetition

Redundant phrases and filler words are pointed out. Weak phrasing is paired with a clearer replacement so the minute sounds more direct.

Vocabulary upgrades

Key phrases from your recording, each with two or three more precise alternatives.

Two full rewrites

A native-level rewrite that is clean and fluent, and a high-level rewrite that is more formal and sophisticated. Both are written out so you can compare them with what you said.
